Premier League records
For the all time English league statistics, seeFootball records and statistics in England.

ThePremier League is an English professional league forassociation football clubs. At the top of theEnglish football league system, it is the country's primary football competition and is contested by 20 clubs. The competition was formed in February 1992 following the decision of clubs in theFootball League First Division tobreak away from The Football League, in order to take advantage of a lucrative television rights deal.

The table that follows is accurate as of the end of the2024–25 season. Teams inbold are part of the2025–26 Premier League. Numbers inbold are the record (highest either positive or negative) numbers in each column.[49]
