Preetha Hari (néePreetha Vijayakumar) is an Indian former actress and businesswoman who predominantly acted in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films. After her marriage to film directorHari, she retired from the film industry in 2002.
Preetha had first signed up to portray the leading role inRavi Raja Pinisetty's Telugu filmRukmini oppositeVineeth in 1997, and she made her Tamil film debut withSandhippoma in 1998.[1] She is noted for her role in the moviePadayappa asRajinikanth's daughter.
She was born as second child to actorVijayakumar and actressManjula. She married directorHari in 2002 and has three sons.[2]
