Pramod Chandra Mody (born 1 September 1959) is aretiredIndian Revenue Service officer of 1982 batch.[2][3] He is currently serving as 13thSecretary General of the Rajya Sabha since November 2021.[4][5] He served asChairperson of the Central Board of Direct Taxes from February 2019 to May 2021.[6] He had one of the longest tenures asCBDT chief.[4]
