Pouria Amirshahi (born 27 March 1972) is a French politician.[1] He was a member of theNational Assembly for theNinth constituency for French residents overseas.[2]
In June 2025, Amirshahi's visa application to the United States was rejected.[3] He had planned to travel toWashington, D.C. andBoston to meet with progressive lawmakers.[3] Amirshahi had initially applied for aElectronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) which was rejected, before applying for a standard visa and being banned from entering the United States.[4]
