Anatomical terminology

Theposterior talocalcaneal ligament (posterior calcaneo-astragaloid ligament) connects the lateral tubercle of thetalus with the upper and medial part of thecalcaneus; it is a short band, and its fibers radiate from their narrow attachment to thetalus.
