Chicago is themost populous city in the U.S. state ofIllinois and in theMidwestern United States. TheJoffrey Tower is a high rise commercial real estate development on the northeast corner of NorthState Street and East Randolph Street in theLoopcommunity area ofChicago inCook County,Illinois,United States that was developed to include the headquarters and related spaces for theJoffrey Ballet. It is located immediately south of theChicago Theatre and directly across the street fromMacy's on State Street, theflagship location of theChicago LandmarkMarshall Field and Company Building of the formerMarshall Field's within theLoop Retail Historic District. Its address had once been the site of theMasonic Temple. The placement of theJoffrey Ballet in this building appears to have involved political dealings with theMayor of Chicago,Richard M. Daley and his brother,William Daley, a co-chairman of the Joffreyboard of trustees. The building completed 2008.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority was founded on January 15, 1908, atHoward University inWashington, D.C., by nine women who were known asThe Original Group of 1908, and seven sophomores, who were accepted as honor initiates and are known asThe Sophomores of 1910. Alpha Kappa Alpha serves the community through a membership of more than 200,000 women in over 950 chapters in the United States and several other countries. Membership is extended to female college undergraduate and graduate students. The sorority also bestows honorary membership as the highest honor.

Alpha Kappa Alpha states that since the organization's founding, "the sisterhood of Alpha Kappa Alpha has responded to the world’s increasing complexity. David Schwimmer
David Lawrence Schwimmer is an American actor and director oftelevision andfilm. Born in New York, he moved and began his acting career performing in school plays atBeverly Hills High School. In 1988, he graduated fromNorthwestern University with aBachelor of Arts degree in theater and speech. After graduation, Schwimmer co-founded theLookingglass Theatre Company. He then appeared in a number of television roles, includingL.A. Law,The Wonder Years,NYPD Blue, andMonty in the early-1990s. Chicago Board of Trade Building
TheChicago Board of Trade Building houses theChicago Board of Trade, the world's largestfutures and options exchange. It is located at 141 West Jackson Boulevard,Chicago,Illinois, in theChicago Loopcommunity area. First designated aChicago Landmark on May 4, 1977, the building was subsequently listed as aNational Historic Landmark on June 2, 1978. The building was then added to theNational Register of Historic Places on June 16, 1978. The tallest building in Chicago for over 35 years the structure is known for itsart-deco architecture, sculptures and large scalestone carving, as well as large trading floors. A popularsightseeing attraction and motion picture location, the building has wonawards forpreservation efforts and office management. The Chicago Board of Trade occupies 33 percent of available space, with financial and trading concerns occupying 54 percent of the 3-building complex. The landmark has been the site of a number of visits by dignitaries, including the Prince of Wales in October 1977. Trading operations have been used as scenes in movies such asFerris Bueller's Day Off, and the streetscape in the LaSalle Street canyon is used in the moviesThe Untouchables andRoad to Perdition.
