InGreek mythology, the namePolypheides orPolyphides (/ˌpɒlɪˈfaɪdiːz/;Ancient Greek: Πολυφείδης) may refer to:

• Polypheides, son ofMantius and brother ofCleitus. He was granted prophetic skills byApollo and became the best seer among mortals after the death ofAmphiaraus; he dwelt inHyperesia and had a sonTheoclymenus.^[1] A slightly different account of his life was given byPherecydes:^[2] according to it, Polypheides marriedAechme, daughter ofHaemon, and settled inEleusis, where two sons, Theoclymenus andHarmonides, were born to him.
• Polypheides, lord ofSicyon, to whomAgamemnon andMenelaus were entrusted by their nurse or sent byAegisthus after the murder ofAtreus. He further sent them toOeneus.^[3]
