Poltavsky District (Russian:Полта́вский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[5] district (raion), one of thethirty-two inOmsk Oblast,Russia. It is located in the southwest of theoblast. The area of the district is 2,800 square kilometers (1,100 sq mi).[2] Itsadministrative center is theurban locality (awork settlement) ofPoltavka.[1] Its 21,772 people (2010 Census) account for 32.3% of the district's total population.[3]
