Polonium tetrabromide, is abromide ofpolonium, with the chemical formula PoBr4.
Polonium tetrabromide can be formed by the direct reaction of bromine and polonium at 200 °C to 250 °C.[2]
Likepolonium tetraiodide, polonium tetrabromide can also be produced by the reaction ofpolonium dioxide andhydrogen bromide:[2]
Polonium tetrabromide is a light red solid that is easilydeliquescent.[1] It crystallizes in thecubic crystal system, withspace groupFm3m (No. 225) andlattice parameter a = 5.6 Å.[3]
