Podolí is adistrict in Prague located south of the city centre, on the right (east) riverbank. It bordersVyšehrad in the north,Pankrác (a part ofNusle andKrč districts) in the east andBraník in the south. The riverVltava separates Podolí fromSmíchov andHlubočepy on the other riverbank.
Notable buildings of the district include theneoclassicalPodolí Waterworks completed in the 20th century,Church of St. Michael the Archangel which is one of the oldest churches in the whole city orPodolí Swimming Stadium.
