Poborzans,[a] also spelled asPobożans,[b] are anethnographic group ofPolish people, that are part of the ethnographic subgroup ofMasovians. They originate from the north westMasovia, located within the region ofPoborze andZawkrze, to the north ofMława river.[1] The group is descendant of thePolish nobility that had inhabit the area in theLate Middle Ages. They are culturally separate from the neighbouring groups.[2][3]
