Plouër-sur-Rance (French pronunciation:[pluɛʁsyʁʁɑ̃s], literallyPlouër onRance;Breton:Plouhern) is acommune in theCôtes-d'Armordepartment ofBrittany in northwesternFrance.
Over twenty years,René-Thierry Magon de la Villehuchet was renovating and organizing the archives of LeChâteau de Plouër (a private property;48°31′21″N2°00′22″W / 48.52255°N 2.00614°W /48.52255; -2.00614),[3] which he'd inherited from an uncle, and was nearly finished with the endeavor at the time of his death in 2008.[4]
