Piscivoravis is an extinct genus of fish-eatingornithuromorphdinosaurs known from theEarly CretaceousJiufotang Formation (Aptian age) of westernLiaoning Province, northeasternChina.Piscivoravis was first named by Shuang Zhou, Zhonghe Zhou andJingmai O'Connor in2013 and thetype species isPiscivoravis lii.Phylogenetic analysis placesPiscivoravis in a more derived position thanArchaeorhynchus, in apolytomy withJianchangornis,Patagopteryx, and the clade including all more derived ornithuromorphs.[1]
