Pisacoma (fromAymaraP'isaq Uma) is one of sevendistricts of theChucuito Province inPeru.[1]
One of the highest elevations of the district isChuqi Patilla at approximately 5,200 m (17,100 ft). Other mountains are listed below:[2]
The people in the district are mainlyindigenous citizens ofAymara descent.Aymara is the language which the majority of the population (51.30%) learnt to speak in childhood, 48.08% of the residents started speaking using theSpanish language (2007 Peru Census).[3]
