Pipecuronium (Arduan) is a bisquaternaryaminosteroidmuscle relaxant[1] which blocksnicotinic acetylcholine receptors[2][3] at theneuromuscular junction. It is also an antagonist ofM2 andM3 muscarinic receptors[2] and is the mostpotentneuromuscular blocking agent of the aminosteroid class.[citation needed]
It is sold under thetrade names Arduan and Pycuron.[4]
