Pinnacle Racing Group (PRG) is an American professionalstock car racing team that currently competes in theARCA Menards Series,ARCA Menards Series East,ARCA Menards Series West, and in various Late Model Stock events. The team currently fields the No. 28Chevrolet SS forBrenden Queen in theARCA Menards Series,ARCA Menards Series East, andARCA Menards Series West and the No. 82Chevrolet SS forHélio Castroneves amongst others.
Pinnacle Racing Group was founded on February 4, 2023, by Mark Webb and Jerry Webb in partnership withShane Huffman and heads ofChevrolet'sdriver development program,Lorin Ranier andJosh Wise.[1] On March 1 they announced Shane's son,Landon S. Huffman (no relation to fellow driverLandon Huffman) would compete in theirLate Model Stock Car for the season atHickory Motor Speedway. Two days later on March 3, 2023, the team announcedLuke Fenhaus would compete for the team full-time in theARCA Menards Series East in2023.[2] On January 2, 2024, the announcement was made thatShane van Gisbergen would compete for the team in theseason opener atDaytona International Speedway.[3]
The team made itsARCA Menards Series debut in the2023Calypso Lemonade 150 in a combination race with the East Series where they were competing full-time withLuke Fenhaus. They won the race after it went into overtime marking their first win in the National Series and second with the East Series.[4] On August 14, 2023, it was announcedConnor Zilisch would make hisARCA Menards Series debut in the No. 28 at that weekend's race atWatkins Glen.[5] Zilisch qualified second behindCorey LaJoie and then went on to dominate the race, leading 34 out of the race's 42 laps, and barely lost the race after getting moved in the final corner of the final lap from the lead byJesse Love going on to still finish second despite an ill handling car affected by a broken front sway bar.Carson Kvapil made his ARCA debut atKansas Speedway, where he finished in second behind race winnerConnor Mosack.[6][7]
In 2024,Shane van Gisbergen would run the No. 28 at Daytona in order to receive approval to compete at superspeedway events in NASCAR.[8][9]Connor Mosack won the race atKansas. Zillisch won the race atDover,Iowa,IRP,Michigan, andThe Glen.
On December 4, 2024, it was announced thatBrenden Queen would drive the No. 28Chevrolet in2025 on a full-time basis.[10] In the season opener atDaytona, Queen scored his first career win in the series.[11] He would earn wins atKansas in May,Michigan,Dover,Iowa,DuQuion,Salem, andKansas in September to secure the series championship.[12]

In 2024, the team fielded the No. 82 car forCarson Kvapil atDover andCharlotte andCorey Day atBristol andKansas.
On January 8, 2025, the team announced that BrazilianIndyCar driverHélio Castroneves would drive the No. 82 at theDaytona ARCA 200 to prepare for theDaytona 500.[17] Later that season,Austin Green was assigned to drive the No. 82 car part-time. He would earn a win atCharlotte.

The team made its debut in theARCA Menards Series East in the2023Pensacola 200 withLuke Fenhaus behind the wheel, they would finish a strong 2nd to a debutingWilliam Sawalich. The team would pick up another top 5 the next race atDover with a 3rd and then in only their 3rd career start they won their first ever race at theNashville Fairgrounds Speedway in theMusic City 200.[19] Two races later in a combination race with the East Series and the mainARCA Menards Series, marking their first start in that division, they won once again atIowa Speedway in theCalypso Lemonade 150.[20]
On March 18, 2024, it was announced thatConnor Zilisch will run a full season in theARCA Menards Series East, driving the No. 28 car.[21] In his first start atFive Flags Speedway, he missed practice and qualifying due to being atCircuit of the Americas for theNASCAR Truck Series race, and was replaced byLuke Fenhaus.[22] Zilisch was able to make the race but struggled with mechanical issues throughout the event and finished 4th, two laps down. In his next race atDover Motor Speedway, Zilisch took advantage of the leader's mishaps, and led the final 42 laps of the event to earn his first career win in both the main and East Series.[23] At theNashville Fairgrounds Speedway, Zilisch qualified 4th and ran in the top three throughout the event, but did not have the car to beat the eventual race winnerWilliam Sawalich, he finished 3rd behindIsabella Robusto. He rebounded the following race atFlat Rock Speedway, where he would go on to obliterate the competition, winning the pole and leading every lap of the race to earn his second career win.[24][25] He continued with a hot streak of victories, winning the next two East Series events atIowa Speedway andLucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park, both in dominating fashion.[26][27]
In 2025, the No. 28 car in theARCA Menards Series East was reduced to part-time basis.Connor Mosack drove the No. 28 car at season opener atFive Flags Speedway.Austin Green drove the car to a 12th place finish atRockinghan.Brenden Queen drove the No. 28 car for four combinedARCA Menards Series races atDover,IRP,Iowa, andBristol. He won at Dover and Iowa.

Landon S. Huffman, son of team managerShane Huffman, ran the team'sLate Model Stock Car for the entire season atHickory Motor Speedway. Huffman and the team picked up their first victory on March 12 at Hickory in the first twin 40 race of the night. The team later picked up their second win on July 2 also at Hickory.[33]
Later in the season,Connor Mosack andRoss Chastain also raced Late Model Stock Cars for the team atHickory andNorth Wilkesboro respectively.[34][35]
