Pietro Bonomo (Latin:Petrus Bonomus; 1458–1546) was anItalianhumanist and diplomat, who becamebishop of Trieste in 1502 andarchbishop of Vienna briefly in 1522.
He was born into an important family inTrieste, and studied at theUniversity of Bologna. He was taken into imperial service byEmperor Frederick III. He was sent to negotiate withLudovico Sforza.
He was chancellor of Austria from 1521 to 1523.
