Pierrelatte (French pronunciation:[pjɛʁlat];Occitan:Pèiralata) is acommune in theDrômedepartment in southeasternFrance. Since the 1980s it hosts one of the biggest production plants of theenriched uranium existing in the world, used both for civil and military purposes.[3]
