Pierre Cathala (French pronunciation:[pjɛʁkatala]; 1888 – 1947) was a French politician. He served as the French Minister of Finance from 1942 to 1944.
Pierre Cathala was born on 22 September 1888 inMontfort-sur-Meu,Brittany, France.[1] He was educated at theLycée Saint-Louis, and inBayonne where he became friends withPierre Laval.[2][3]
Cathala served as theFrench Minister of Finance from 1942 to 1944.[1]
Cathala married Mathilde Henriette Lagrange.[1] They had two sons, François and Jean-Claude, and a daughter, Renée.[1]
Cathala died on 27 July 1947 in Paris, France.[1]
