Pierre Alonzo (23 March 1940 – 18 September 2024) was a Frenchfootball player and manager. As a player, he was amidfielder, playing for Aïn-Temouchent, Avellaneda, Perpignan,Red Star,Cannes, andMenton. After retiring, he went on to coach Saint-Tropez,Paris Saint-Germain,Bordeaux,Périgueux, andNice.[1]
Alonzo died on 18 September 2024, at the age of 84.[2] He was the father of goalkeeperJérôme Alonzo.[3]
