Picotamide is aplatelet aggregation inhibitor. It works as athromboxane synthase inhibitor and athromboxane receptor inhibitor, the latter by modifying cellular responses to activation of thethromboxane receptor.[1] Picotamide is licensed in Italy for the treatment of clinical arterial thrombosis and peripheral artery disease.[2]
