TheRiserva Naturale Pian di Spagna e Lago di Mezzola is anature reserve inLombardy, in northern Italy. The reserve consists of theLago di Mezzola and the Pian di Spagna, thewetland area which separates it fromLake Como. It includes parts of thecomuni ofSorico andGera Lario in the province ofComo, and of the comuni ofDubino,Verceia andNovate Mezzola in the province ofSondrio.[1] It was established by Deliberazione del Consiglio Regionale III/1913, dated 6 February 1985, and has theEUAP reference code EUAP0326.[2]
