Petra Marčinko (born 4 December 2005) is a Croatiantennis player.[1]

Marčinko has a career-highWTA singles ranking of 113, achieved on 11 August 2025. She also has a career-high doubles ranking of 386, achieved on 11 August 2025. She has oneWTA 125 singles title as well as nine titles in singles and four in doubles on theITF Women's Circuit.

Career

2021-2022: Junior No. 1, Pro debut

On theITF Junior Circuit, Marčinko had won nine singles and seven doubles titles. She achieved the number-one junior ranking on 13 December 2021.[2]

In December 2021, she completed a remarkable late-season surge as singles and doubles victories at the prestigiousOrange Bowl championships saw her climb nine places to finish as the year-end junior world No. 1.[3]

At the beginning of 2022, she won her first junior Grand Slam title at theAustralian Open, defeatingSofia Costoulas in the final, in straight sets.[4]

Marčinko made herWTA Tour debut at the2022 Morocco Open in Rabat as a wildcard, defeatingRebecca Peterson,[5] before losing toAstra Sharma in the second round.[6]

2023-2025: First WTA 125 title

She won her sixth consecutiveITF Women's Circuit title at the2023 Caldas da Rainha Ladies Open, defeatingLéolia Jeanjean in the final in straight sets, and set the new Croatian record for the youngest women's player to win six professional singles titles before turning 18.[7]

Having been given a wildcard entry, Marčinko was runner-up at theWTA 1252024 Montreux Nestlé Open, losing to seventh seedIrina-Camelia Begu in the final in three sets.[8]

In July 2025, Marčinko won her first WTA 125 title at the2025 ATV Tennis Open in Rome, defeatingOksana Selekhmeteva in the final.[9]
