Peter James Edward Oldring (born August 25, 1971) is a Canadian actor and comedian.

Early life

Oldring was born on August 25, 1971, inDrayton Valley,Alberta.[1] He graduated fromSir Winston Churchill High School in 1989 inCalgary, Alberta, and studied at theNational Theatre School of Canada.[2]

Career

In addition to performing withThe Second City improv group in Toronto and Los Angeles,[2] Oldring has appeared on Canadian television. He was also a regular cast member of the redneck-themed sketch comedy seriesBlue Collar TV.[2] Feature film roles includeK-19: The Widowmaker,[2]Focus[2] andLost and Delirious.[2] He has a starring role inIntern Academy.[2] He also playedFarrah Fawcett's gay assistant in the television filmHollywood Wives. Oldring also appeared in the seriesDoc and The WB'sD.C., as well as in the television movieThe Ricky Nelson Story. Oldring voiced Cody, Ezekiel and Tyler inTotal Drama. Oldring also starred in the 2007 filmYoung People Fucking.[2] In 2011, he was cast as "Lonnie" in the Disney XD showKickin' It. He had a supporting role in two episodes ofPsych:Extradition: British Columbia andExtradition II: The Actual Extradition Part.

His voice acting credits include the animated children's showBraceface,Mischief City,Miss Spider's Sunny Patch Kids,My Friend Rabbit,Pelswick,Total Drama,6teen,Pecola andGlenn Martin, DDS. Oldring has also voicing video game characters, such as Alfred Ashford inResident Evil – Code: Veronica.

Oldring has also worked on numerous projects with his longtime creative partner Pat Kelly, includingThe Comedy Network seriesGood Morning World[3] and theCBC Radio comedy showThis Is That.[3][4] Oldring appeared on the TV One original seriesLove That Girl! as a gay hairdresser named Fabian.[5]

In 2017, Oldring appeared in an episode of theNetflix seriesHouse of Cards as a Congressman from Florida.

AlongsidePaul O'Sullivan,Debra McGrath,Lisa Merchant andRebecca Northan, he received aGemini Award nomination forEnsemble Performance in a Comedy Program or Series at the19th Gemini Awards in 2004 forThe Joe Blow Show.[6]
