Governing body of association football in Peru
ThePeruvian Football Federation (Spanish :Federación Peruana de Fútbol orFPF Association football inPeru . It was founded on August 23, 1922, and affiliated withFIFA in 1924.[ 1] CONMEBOL since 1925, and directly oversees thePeru national football team ,futsal team youth teams,Peruvian Primera División , and the amateur leagues.[ 2] Copa Américas , sixBolivarian Games titles and qualified for theFIFA World Cup five times.
It is indirectly involved in the organization of thePrimera División (today Liga 1), theLiga Femenina ,Liga 2 ,Liga 3 ,Copa Perú ,Copa LFP - FPF and others.[ 3] Villa Deportiva Nacional (VIDENA) onAviación Avenue 2085 inSan Luis ,Lima , which is also the training center of most Peruvian sports federations.
