Henry Percy Benson (13 January 1874 – 14 March 1949) was an Americanfootball player and coach. He playedcollege football as aquarterback at theUniversity of California, Berkeley from 1892 to 1894.[2] He served as the head football coach at theUniversity of Oregon inEugene, Oregon during 1895, compiling a record of 4–0.[3] Benson also coached the Butte Athletic Club ofButte, Montana in 1897.[4]
