TheGoogle People Cards was aknowledge base used byGoogle and its services to enhance itssearch engine's results with information gathered from people inIndia.[1] After launching inIndia, Google launched this service in African countries, such asKenya,Nigeria andSouth Africa[2] This service allows individuals to create their profile on Google's search engine.[3][4]
However, on April 7, 2024, the Google People Cards feature and the ability to create new people cards or update existing ones was discontinued.[5] Claiming this was not as helpful as was intended.
