ThePennsy Greenway is arail trail in theChicago metropolitan area running fromLansing, Illinois toSchererville, Indiana. The trail runs on the formerPenn Central Railway, and is currently incomplete, but is paved at segments inLansing,Munster,Dyer,Schererville, andCrown Point. The trail is paved through these segments at a total of 12.5 miles,[1] and the trail is planned to extend for a total of 15 miles.[2]
