ThePella Square (Macedonian: Плоштад Пела) is one of the main squares ofSkopje, thecapital city ofNorth Macedonia.
It is located inCentar Municipality, near the city's main square,Macedonia Square. The square is named after the Ancient cityPella, located in the currentPella regional unit ofCentral Macedonia inGreece. It was the capital of theancient Macedonian kingdom. A statue ofKrste Misirkov was unveiled at Pella Square in 2007.[1] It commonly serves as the site of music concerts, political speeches, demonstrations or other gatherings.
