Estonian long-distance runner
Pavel Loskutov (born 2 December 1969 inValka,Latvia) is a formerEstonian long-distance runner who specialized inmarathon races. He has competed in the Olympic marathon race four times consecutively, from the1996 Atlanta Olympics to the2008 Beijing Games.
In 2001, he won theGöteborgsvarvethalf marathon inGothenburg with a time of 1:03:00. Loskutov finished as the runner-up of theParis Marathon in 2002 and went on to win asilver medal later that year at the2002 European Championships in 2:13:18 hours.[1] He was the winner of theJoongAng Seoul Marathon in 2003 and 2004. He also has won half-marathon at the 2008Riga Marathon. He retired from competition in 2010.
