Paul Popovici orPaul Popovits (21 June 1948 – 7 April 2021) was aRomanian professionalfootballer who played as aleft-back.[3] He played almost all his career for two clubs,Bihor Oradea andUTA Arad. He also played four matches forRomania, making his debut in a match againstAlbania.[1]
Popovici died in the morning of 7 April 2021, after he suffered aheart attack.[4][5]
