Paul Anthony Martin Loughran (born 7 July 1969 inBelfast) is aNorthern Irishactor. He was educated atMethodist College Belfast.^[1] He is best known for portrayingButch Dingle inITVsoap operaEmmerdale in which his character died in a bus crash with friendPete Collins. After that he appeared in many otherTV series such asHeartbeat. On 24 August 2016, it was announced that Loughran had been cast asDarryl Perkins, the father ofCraig Tinker (Colson Smith), inCoronation Street.
