Paul Stephane Lionel Biligha (born 31 May 1990) is a Cameroonian-Italian professionalbasketball player forDerthona Basket of the ItalianLega Basket Serie A (LBA). Standing at 2.00 metres (6 feet 7 inches), he plays at thecenter position.

Professional career

Biligha was born inPerugia, Italy in 1990 into a family ofItalian andCameroonian heritage.

He started playing in Cameroon where he lived from the age of 8 to 16. Once back in Italy, he grew as a basketball player in theFlorence youth team and laterCasalpusterlengo, Verolanuova, Crema and Pavia.[1]

In summer 2012 Biligha signed withSidigas Avellino inLBA, where he stayed for two seasons.[2] In 2014 went toBasket Ferentino inSerie A2 Basket.[3]

On 26 June 2015 Biligha returned in LBA with a two-year contract withVanoli Cremona.[4]

In July 2017 he became a player of2017 Italian League champions,Umana Reyer Venezia.[5] In May 2018, he won theFIBA Europe Cup with Reyer.[6]

He signed withOlimpia Milano for the2019–20 season and spent four seasons there, until July 29, 2023.

On July 29, 2023, he signed withDolomiti Energia Trento of the ItalianLega Basket Serie A (LBA).[7]

On July 1, 2024, he signed withDerthona Basket of the ItalianLega Basket Serie A (LBA).[8]

National team career

Bilingha made his debut with the Under-20Italian national under-20 team during the2010 FIBA Europe Under-20 Championship, playing eight games.

In 2017, he made it into the final squad of theItalian national team. He participated inEuroBasket 2017, held inIsrael.[9]
