Patrick Bergin (6 February 1913 – 16 April 1991) was anIrish politician and trade union official.[2]

He was aLabour Party member ofSeanad Éireann from 1954 to 1957. He wasnominated by the Taoiseach to the8th Seanad in 1954.[3] He did not contest the 1957 Seanad election.[3] He stood unsuccessfully forDáil Éireann as a Labour Party candidate for theCarlow–Kilkenny constituency at the1948 general election.[4]

His sons are the actorsEmmet andPatrick Bergin.[1]
