Patrick Quinn (26 April 1936 – 13 July 2020) was a Scottishfootball player andmanager.

Career

Quinn began his career in League football atMotherwell under the management ofBobby Ancell where he played alongside other "Ancell's Babes" such asIan St John.[4] Quinn established himself as a scheming inside-forward before moving toBlackpool in 1962. A year later, he returned to Scotland to joinHibernian and was a key component of the team's midfield underJock Stein andBob Shankly. He was a finalist in the1968–69 Scottish League Cup.

He finished his league career atEast Fife, whom he went on to manage. He also coachedFH.[5]

Quinn played four times forScotland between 1961 and 1962.[6][7][3] Quinn also represented theScottish Football League XI six times.[8]

Death

Quinn died on 13 July 2020, aged 84.[9][10]
