TheParkersburg–Vienna metropolitan area, officially theParkersburg–Vienna, WV Metropolitan Statistical Area as defined by theUnited States Census Bureau,[1] is an area consisting of two counties inWest Virginia, anchored by the cities ofParkersburg andVienna. As of the2020 census, the MSA had a population of 89,490.[2] Prior to the 2020 census, the metro area included the city ofMarietta, Ohio andWashington County, which has since been redefined as its ownmicropolitan area. They now form theParkersburg–Marietta–Vienna, WV–OHCombined Statistical Area.
