Paranecrosaurus is anextinctgenus of lizard from theEoceneMessel Pits ofGermany. It contains a single species,Paranecrosaurus feisti, originally described as a species ofSaniwa. It was carnivorous, as indicated by the presence of the lizardCryptolacerta as stomatch contents. It is placed in the familyPalaeovaranidae.[1]
