Pancryptista is aclade that includes theCryptista as well as theMicroheliella.Phylogenomic analyses from 2022 suggest theMicroheliella issister to theCryptista, forming the clade called Pancryptista, which would be sister to theArchaeplastida, forming theCAM clade.[2]
