Panaxatriol is an organic compound that is anaglycone ofginsenosides, a group ofsteroid glycosides.[1] It is adammarane-type tetracyclictriterpenesapogenin found inginseng (Panax ginseng) and innotoginseng (Panax pseudoginseng). It is formed by thedehydration ofprotopanaxatriol.
