Palaeochersis is an extinctgenus ofrhaptochelydianturtle[1] from theLos Colorados Formation ofArgentina.[2] It is known from one species,P. talampayensis.[3]
P. talampayensis is known from a single partial skeleton (specimen PULR 068),[3][4] and it was part of theAustralochelyidae, being the sister taxon toAustralochelys.[1][5]
