Town of ancient Caria

Palaemyndus orPalaia Myndos (Ancient Greek:Παλαιάμυνδος or Παλαιὰ Μύνδος) was a town ofancient Caria, nearMyndus, which was its successor settlement.[1] Palaemyndus seems to have been the ancient place of theCarians which became deserted after the establishment of theDorian Myndus.[2]

Its site is located nearBozdağ,Asiatic Turkey.[3][4]
