Paco Testas is a fictional character appearing inAmerican comic books published byDC Comics.
Paco first appeared inInfinite Crisis #3 (February 2006) and was created by writersKeith Giffen andJohn Rogers and artistCully Hamner.[1]
Paco is a friend ofJaime Reyes andBrenda Del Vecchio. After the former disappears, Paco joins the Posse, a benevolent street gang, and enters a relationship with fellow member Piñata. He later discovers that Brenda is the niece of influential crime bossLa Dama.
In "The New 52" reboot, Paco temporarily gains abilities similar to Blue Beetle and becomes known as theBlood Beetle after being given a life-saving Transbiotic Antitrauma Unit (T.A.U.). This persona is later removed after Blue Beetle's scarab Khaji Da removes the T.A.U. and gives Paco a tissue transplant.
Paco appears inBatman: The Brave and the Bold, voiced byJason Marsden.[2]
