Pablo Enrique Ruiz (born December 20, 1998) is an Argentine professionalfootballer who plays as amidfielder forMajor League Soccer clubReal Salt Lake.
Amidfielder, Ruiz was withComisión de Actividades Infantiles from his hometown before joining theSan Lorenzo youth system in 2014.[2] In 2017, he moved to Chile and joinedSan Luis de Quillota.[3][4]
On 2 February 2018, Ruíz joinedMLS teamReal Salt Lake fromSan Luis in Chile.[5] On 1 November 2020, he signed a contract extension through the end of 2025 MLS season.[6]
He representedArgentina U17 at the2015 South American Championship. At senior level, he is eligible for bothArgentina andChile.[7]
His parents are Argentine and his grandparents are Chilean. Due to his Chilean heritage, he acquired theChilean nationality by descent before joiningSan Luis de Quillota at the end of 2016.[7]
