PHASMA is a futureradio frequency spectrum monitoring and space-basedsituational awareness mission developed by theGreek non-profit organisationLibre Space Foundation (LSF) with support ofEU andESA.[1][2][3][4][5][6] The mission will consist of two identical 3UCubeSats namedLAMARR (afterHedy Lamarr) andDIRAC (afterPaul Dirac) flying in close proximity of each other.[7] The goals of the mission are to quantify the global use ofradio frequency spectrum, to locate sources of interference, to detect possible violations of signal transmission, as well as to monitor signal transmissions from othersatellites.[1] The mission is supported byESA's Greek CubeSat In-Orbit Validation programme.[8] The two satellites are scheduled to be launched on theSpaceXFalcon 9 flight Transporter-15 in November 2025.[9][10][11]
