OMA (Orthologous MAtrix) is a database oforthologs extracted from available completegenomes.[1][2] The orthology predictions of OMA are available in several forms:

  • OMA Pairs: for a givengene, a list of predictedorthologs in otherspecies is provided.
  • OMA Groups: a set of genes across differentspecies which are allorthologous.
  • OMA Hierarchical Groups: the set of all genes that have evolved from a single ancestral gene in a giventaxonomic range.
  • OMA Genome Pair view: the list of all predictedorthologs between twospecies.
