Orphanage were adeath metal/gothic metal band from the Netherlands.
The band was formed in 1993 and released their first demosMorph (1993) andDruid (1994). Orphanage then recorded their first full albumOblivion, and one year later released their second album,By Time Alone. In 1997, the band released the EPAt the Mountains of Madness, and worked three years on the albumInside, which was released in 2000. The last albumDriven was released in 2004.[1] On 18 October 2005 the band announced that they had disbanded.[2] All four studio albums were released on theNuclear Blast andDSFA labels.
