Organyà (Catalan pronunciation:[oɾɣaˈɲa]) is amunicipality in thecomarca of theAlt Urgell inCatalonia. It is situated on the right bank of theSegre river below the Trespons gorge, and is served by the C-14 road betweenPonts andLa Seu d'Urgell. There is a monument to theHomilies d'Organyà, a 12th or 13th century collection ofsermons which is the oldest literary text in theCatalan language to survive in its entirety, discovered in the town in 1904. It has a population of 811 (register office, 2024)

Organyà is the birthplace ofRosa Florentina Eroles (1815-1864), the mother ofFrancis Ysidro Edgeworth.[1]
The municipality surrounds anexclave ofCabó.
