Oratório Recreativo Clube, commonly referred to asOratório (Brazilian Portuguese:[ˈoɾatɔɾiu]), is a Brazilianfootball club based inMacapá,Amapá. The team competes in theCampeonato Amapaense, the top division in the Amapástate football league system.
The men's team won theCampeonato Amapaense once. The women's team competed twice in theCopa do Brasil de Futebol Feminino.
The club was founded on 15 August 1969,[citation needed] by member of the Nossa Senhora da Conceição Church community.
Like other clubs in the state, Oratório does not have its own stadium. Since 2017, all football matches in Amapá are held atZerão. Up until 2014, the team also played atGlicerão, which is currently undergoing renovation.[2]
Oratório was the first club fromAmapá to compete in theCopa São Paulo de Juniores, participating in 2001. They won theCampeonato Amapaense in 2012.
They competed in theCopa do Brasil de Futebol Feminino in2009, when they were eliminated byPinheirense, and in2010, when they were eliminated byRoraima
