Orło[ˈɔrwɔ] is avillage in the administrative district ofGmina Małkinia Górna, withinOstrów Mazowiecka County,Masovian Voivodeship, in east-central Poland.[1]
Orło was a private church village of theRoman Catholic Diocese of Płock,[2] administratively located in theMasovian Voivodeship in theGreater Poland Province of the Kingdom of Poland.
In 1823, the village had a population of 33.[2]
During the Germaninvasion of Poland which startedWorld War II, on September 9, 1939, German troops carried out a massacre of 10Poles (seeNazi crimes against the Polish nation).[3]
