Operation Karbala 10 was a joint operation byIran and KurdishPUK rebels inIraq.

Following the failure of theSiege of Basra, theIranians launched Operation Karbala 10 in northern Iraq on 14 April. The Iranians, supported by a few thousandPUKPeshmergas succeeded to capturing the outskirts ofSulaymaniyah andHalabja and lands around them.[1][2]
